Ring in 2017 With The Lights All Night Electronic Dance Music Festival In Dallas Texas

It’s never too early to make New Year’s Eve plans! The lineup for this year’s Lights All Night EDM Festival has been announced today and with names like Feed Me, Kill the Noise, NERO and nearly 30 more artists (see below for a complete list), it is no wonder Dallas Dwelling electronic music fans are getting excited. Deadmau5, also on the list, has not played since the LAN festival in 2013. In past years, Lights All Night has included big EDM performers like Avicii, Kaskade, Skrillex, Major Lazer, and Krewella. Lights All Night began as a one-night party in Dallas in 2010 and has since grown to attract more than 40,000 people each year. The New Year’s Eve electronic music festival is North Texas' biggest EDM festival and it takes place on New Year’s Eve at the Dallas Market Hall on December 30th and 31st.

The Biggest Music Festival of Texas

In reality, it is the area's biggest music festival, period. In fact, it is so big; it has expanded from one day to two. Those planning on attending have been hand wringing for a while as they have waited for the lineup to be announced.  Headlining the show will be Deadmaus5, Above & Beyond and Zedd. With some of the biggest stages Texas has ever seen, Lights All Night is an auditory and visual experience that you won’t soon forget. The event is a state-of-the-art production and it is a sensory feast — every musical builds up and breakdown comes decked in diamonds and doused with glitter. Organizers have spent over two million dollars on lights, sound, confetti canons and lasers. There will also be specialty food trucks for a unique dining experience as well as signature experiential elements. Fans can expect all points of attending Lights All Night in Dallas and El Paso to be top-notch.

The El Paso Lights All Night Electronic Dance Music Festival

The festival is getting so big that this year they are expanding the party out to El Paso, a hub of music, culture and the arts. The El Paso Lights All Night Electronic Dance Music Festival will be held at the local convention center on the same dates as the Dallas event. Deadmau5 and RL Grime will be headlining. The music at Lights All Night may be the main attraction, however, people watching will also provide some real entertainment. Attendees embody wild characters with lavish costumes — fairies, pirates, angels, neon-clad flower children, superheroes and other fantastical characters real and imaginary. Fashion is important at the festival, but not in any traditional sense.  Nobody cares if you’re wearing Gucci, but you may get many admirers if you come decked in a decorative (and revealing!) homemade bra with matching underwear of your own creation! EDM festivalgoers receive a level of acceptance not found anywhere else and may be what drives so many to attend. Not your clothing, not your gender or your sexual orientation is going to scare anyone away. In fact the costumes promote “PLUR,” a buzzword standing for peace, love, unity and respect.

What is so Special about it?

The Lights All Night Festival has been around for seven years and has become a popular destination for electronic music fans around the country to listen to their favorite DJs and experience a level of approval they might not experience during any other aspect of their lives.
